This sweet, tart and zesty juice is the perfect antidote for a hot summer day. Mom-tested and kid-approved, it’s also a nourishing alternative to traditional processed lemonade, because it’s loaded with living enzymes and nutrients and has no added sugars or fillers. Drink up!
Ingredients
4 red apples, cored and sliced 4
1/2 cup packed chopped kale leaves 125 mL
1 lemon, peeled and halved 1
3 cups red grapes 750 mL
Instructions
1. Using a juicer, process half each of the apples, kale, lemon and grapes.
2. Following the same order, repeat with the remaining fruits and vegetables.
3. Whisk well and serve immediately.
