This juice tastes like fruit punch, offering just the right balance of sweet and sour flavors. It also supports the body’s natural detoxification process, thanks to the grapes, which contain powerful antioxidants.
Grapes also feature an abundance of flavonoids, which have been lauded for their ability to reduce the risk of atherosclerosis.
Ingredients
1/2 pineapple, skin removed, cut into wedges 1/2
1 cup red grapes 250 mL
1 lemon, peeled and halved 1
1 cup packed spinach leaves 250 mL
1 cucumber, quartered 1
1 1/4-inch (0.5 cm) piece peeled gingerroot 1
Instructions
1. Using a juicer, process half each of the pineapple, grapes, lemon, spinach and cucumber, plus the ginger.
2. Following the same order, repeat with the remaining fruits and vegetables.
3. Whisk well and serve immediately.
