Kale is one of the most nutritious greens on the planet. For starters, it is brimming with antioxidants. This juice combines two of the most common varieties of kale in a delicious, heart-healthy drink that will build your immune system and help prevent cancer too. Not only that, it has a sweet, earthy taste that you’ll love!

Ingredients

1 stalk celery, chopped 1
1/2 cup packed chopped curly kale leaves 125 mL
2 red apples, cored and sliced 2
1/2 cup packed chopped lacinato (Tuscan) kale leaves 125 mL
2 cucumbers, quartered 2
1 red bell pepper, quartered 1
1 lemon, peeled and halved 1

Instructions

1. Using a juicer, process half each of the celery, curly kale, apples, lacinato kale, cucumbers, red pepper and lemon.
2. Following the same order, repeat with the remaining fruit and vegetables.
3. Whisk well and serve immediately.
