Your kids won’t taste the spinach in this fresh apple juice, but they will benefit from its full serving of this bone-building, mineral-rich vegetable. And they’ll love the taste too, which strikes just the right balance between sweet and earthy for young palates.
Ingredients
4 red apples, cored and quartered 4
1 cup packed chopped spinach leaves 250 mL
Instructions
1. Using a juicer, process half each of the apples and spinach.
2. Following the same order, repeat with the remaining apples and spinach.
3. Whisk well and serve immediately.
