This slightly sweet, sour and somewhat salty juice delivers a boost of energizing and healing nutrients such as vitamin C, quercetin and other bioflavonoids, alpha and beta-carotene, lutein, zeaxanthin and vitamin K.
You’ll love the earthy taste, and your body will love the cancer-fighting properties of the leafy greens.
Ingredients
1 cucumber, quartered 1
2 stalks celery, chopped 2
1 cup packed chopped kale leaves 250 mL
1 lemon, peeled and halved 1
1 cup packed chopped spinach leaves 250 mL
2 green apples, cored and quartered 2
Instructions
1. Using a juicer, process half each of the cucumber, celery, kale, lemon, spinach and apples.
2. Repeat in the same order with the remaining fruit and vegetables.
3. Whisk well and serve immediately.
