Build a Thriving Wellness Business With the Power of Juice

Sweet Fruits Without Fear

We can’t tell you how many times we’ve heard people tell us they can’t drink fresh juice because of their fear of that dreaded demon… * sugar *.

It certainly is a natural assumption – that sugar in all its various forms is fattening and just plain bad for you.

As early as we can remember, we all recall our parents saying “no” to too many sugary treats….

It’s not good for our health….

It’s fattening….

It will give us a sugar rush, etc., etc.

This one of the top reasons why people say they are afraid to juice.

Well, the science is in and we are happy to announce: Not all sugar is created equal.

In the video below, Dr. Michael Greger lets us in on the latest research: That the sugar in fruit does not cause the same kind of liver damage, hypertension or spikes in insulin and fat releases as other kinds of sugar.

Even better?

Eating fruit sugars in addition to other forms of fructose (so, essentially eating MORE sugar), will similarly even out insulin spikes and fat releases.

It turns out that the fiber in fruit inhibits sugar absorption.

AND…

And this is the most important for juicing fans….

The latest research shows that the phytonutrients in fruit do the same job!

This means that drinking freshly pressed fruit juices does NOT cause the same issues as eating and drinking other sugar-heavy foods and drinks.

So go ahead and juice those grapes, and other sugary natural treats without fear. In fact, here is the recipe for one of our favorite juicy treats.

Pineapple Grape Ginger Juice (a.k.a., the Lemon Drop Candy)

Organic Ingredients:

  • 3 cups red grapes
  • 1 medium pineapple, peeled, cored, and sliced
  • 1 (1/2 in.) piece peeled fresh ginger

Procedure:

1. In a low-rpm juicer, alternate pressing red grapes, pineapple slices and ginger.
2. Stir and serve immediately.

Far from harming you in any way, this incredible juice will actually help regulate your blood sugar (grapes in particular are low-glycemic). This delicious juice will also:

  • fill you with antioxidants,
  • boost your immunity,
  • aid your digestion,
  • reduce inflammation,
  • boost your cardiovascular system,
  • increase your brain function,
  • protect you against cancer,
  • protect you against aging

All that, and it tastes like a lemon drop candy! (Just don’t drink this elixir more than 3 times a week, or the pineapple could ultimately irritate your stomach).

Here’s to you becoming your own guru.
