Herb Garden Smoothie

This smoothie has a complex herbal flavor and just the right amount of sweetness to enhance the savory aspects of the herbs and sea salt.

Makes: two 16-ounce servings
Serving Size: 2 cups

Carbs: 25g
Fiber: 6g
Protein: 2g
Vitamin A: 91%
Vitamin C: 58%
Calcium: 10%
Iron: 11%

Organic Ingredients:
• 1 ½ cups chopped pear
• 1 cup chopped celery
• 2 cups chopped chard leaf
• ½ cup chopped fresh cilantro
• ¼ cup chopped fresh basil
• ¼ cup fresh mint leaves
• 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
• ⅛ cup fresh lemon juice
• 2 tablespoons flax oil
• ½ teaspoon sea salt
• 1 ½ cups water

Directions:
1. Place all of the ingredients in a strong blender and blend well.

Variation:
• Alternatively, replace pear with equal amounts apple and replace thyme with fresh lavender or rosemary.
