This satisfying juice features a transcendent blend of flavors that will help bring out your inner glow. Ginger, which promotes clear skin and bright eyes, gives this juice a nice kick, while the cilantro adds a hint of herbal spice.

The romaine and collard greens balance the flavors. The collard greens are rich in carotenoids, which protect the skin from UV damage, one of the main contributors to skin aging.

Ingredients

3 cucumbers, quartered 3
1 cup packed chopped collard green leaves 250 mL
1 lemon, peeled and halved 1
15 sprigs fresh cilantro (about 1/2 bunch) 15
1 cup packed chopped romaine lettuce leaves 250 mL
1 1/2-inch(1 cm) piece peeled gingerroot 1
1/4 cup raw aloe vera juice 60 mL

Instructions

1. Using a juicer, process half each of the cucumbers, collard greens, lemon, cilantro and romaine, plus the ginger.
2. Following the same order, repeat with the remaining cucumbers, greens, lemon and cilantro.
3 . Add aloe vera juice and whisk well. Strain and serve immediately.
